My favourite movie

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to talk about my favourite movie. One of my favorite movies is Moulin Rouge, this movie was released in 2001 and the film was directed, produced and co-written by Baz Luhrmann. This movie was nominated for 8 Oscars, winning two for “best art direction” and “best costume design”

This movie tells the story of a young English poet/writer, Christian (Ewan McGregor), who falls in love with the star of the Moulin Rouge, cabaret actress and courtesan Satine (Nicole Kidman), but Christian doesn´t know that she is a terminally-ill. That story happened in 1899 when Christian has come to Paris to follow the “bohemian revolution” and nowhere this feeling of the underworld is more alive than in the Moulin Rouge, but all fail when Christian falls in love with Duke's fiancée, Satine, because the economic salvation of the Moulin Rouge depends of Duke.

I love this movie because despite being a love story breaks with the typical romantic movies. I love that the story is told as a musical where each song has meaning and adds a touch of drama and exaggeration much like the Moulin Rouge. It is a film with an amazing esthetics, what makes you feel spectacular Parisian cabaret from a story full of drama ... a story about the power of love! I just love it!

My future Job

Hello everyone! Today I`m going to talk about my future job. I have a lot of possibilities about my future job. My first choice would be to devote to legal psychology and work doing psychological skills or doing repair therapies to victims of sexual offenses.

If I worked in this area, I would like to work in PDI (Policía de investigaciones de Chile) as a legal psychologist. Specifically, I would like to work in INSCRIM (Instituto de criminología) doing psychological assessment or I would like to work in CAVAS (Centro de atención psicológico a víctimas de atentados sexuales) in the area of ​​reparation for victims of sexual offenses or in the area of ​​ of ​​assessment of defendants.

Also, I would like to work in CAPS (clìnica de atención psicológica de la Universidad de chile) doing psychological skills, collaborating with the judges to give verdict.

Anyway, I do not rule out working for a while in the clinical area of psychology, I think can be very useful for my future work. I like a lot systemic psychology and have a consultation of clinical psychology is also an option for me.

In fact, I would like to work part time in my own psychological consultation and work in parallel in the area of legal psychology.

My favourite piece of art

Hello everybody! Today I´m going to talk about my favourite piece of art. Actually, I never thought about this topic… art is not my greatest passion, but if I have to think in my favourite piece of art I choose “The Creation of Adam”.

The Creation of Adam is a fresco that you can find in the Sistine Chapel, specifically in it´s ceiling. The artist that painted this fresco was Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti, he born in 1457 and died in 1564. He was an Italian painter, sculptor, architect, engineer and poet of the high renaissance.

Michelangelo created “the creation of Adam” around the years 1511 and 1512. This fresco illustrates the biblical narration creation of the book of genesis in which God breathes life to Adam.

I think that It´s cultural significance consist in that “The creation of Adam” is one of the most famous pieces of art of the Sistine Chapel and is one of the most well-known in the world, too! And because of this, many people have tried to find its meaning reaching as many hypotheses… like Michelangelo was a great connoisseur of the human anatomy.

I like this piece of art because I think that it´s beautiful and caught my attention the position in where is it… and the details of the fresco.

The best concert i´ve been to

Hello everyone! Today, I should talk about the best concert I've ever been, but I do not remember any concert like better, so I´m going to talk about the concerts that I have enjoyed going.

The first concert I went was Miranda, I remember it was amazing, but I do not remember the exact date ... I think it was 2007 or 2008. From that concert, I always go to see them when they visit chile. His last concert was this year (in August), they came to the anniversary of the “blondie disco”, I really enjoyed it because it was an intimate show and I had the chance to see them so close.

Also, I very often go to concerts of national folklore… I usually go with my family to see artists like Illapu, Intillimani and Quilapayún. The last concert I went to was in Caupolican theater in the winter of the last year,   it was a shared show between illapu and Intillimani…  I really enjoyed it!

Another concert I remember was Skap, I enjoyed it very much to go because it was the first concert I went with my boyfriend!

Finally, one of the concerts that marked me was to Silvio rodriguez in the year 2012, I enjoyed it because I never thought I would see him at a concert. He was also very special because I was with my mom, she loves him from her teens and she never had the chance to go to a concert of him.
